As part of the conference of the German-Greek Chamber of Industry and Commerce, which took place in Thessaloniki on behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK), viamon presented itself as part of German energy companies. The event focused on the topics of renewable energies, grid integration and energy storage technologies and aimed to promote innovative energy partnerships and solutions through German-Greek exchange.
Lecture: viamon’s solution approach
At the Mediterranean Palace Hotel in Greece, Oliver Strecke, Managing Director of viamon, gave a highly acclaimed presentation on minimizing damage during the construction phase of solar projects. He highlighted key challenges such as copper theft, unforeseen property damage and safety issues in the insurance sector. The lecture allowed viamon’s innovative security solutions to be presented to an international audience. Strecke emphasized that preventive protective measures are crucial from the outset in order to secure projects sustainably. Viamon stands for effective risk minimization and ensures that operators and investors are optimally protected – for the smooth and successful implementation of energy projects.
B2B meetings and German-Greek exchanges
The event also provided viamon with valuable networking opportunities to explore potential partnerships and exchange ideas with Greek companies about the growing need for security solutions in the renewable energy sector. In B2B meetings, we were able to make direct contacts and discuss perspectives on securing energy projects that are of great interest to the insurance industry as well as project developers and investors.
